BazePort is an infotainment solution providing information, entertainment, communication and portal facilities in one single easy-to-use arrangement. It caters for entertainment facilities for staff and passangers at their leisure with TV and video viewing and recording, internet access, important messaging functionality for PA announcements, mass information in recreational area, interactive portals as well as professional use as a desktop PC.

The BazePort Infotainment system sets a new standard for crew welfare and safety in offshore and maritime environments. BazePort 4 will provide a very modern and up to date platform for delivery of many types of content. BazePort is equipped with a portal that allows owners, operators or officers to publish information directly to their crew. Role based setup provides the possibility of letting the right information reach the right crew member. In addition information such as safety/HSE, flight schedules, weather, food menus, etc can be published.

BazePort connects to its server with one IP cable. This eliminates the need for additional cabling such as coax and telephone. Hence, BazePort provides less equipment to operate and maintain.

The core of BazePort is its firmware. The BazePort Infotainment firmware allows owners, operators and officers to publish information directly to their crew through easy-to-use content management facilities.

Optional role-based setup allows the right information and/or application to reach the right crew member or group of members (user roles). In addition, information such as safety/HSE, flight schedules, weather, food menus and so on can be published together with work applications.

The BazePort client connects to the BazePort server via the Ethernet network.
