Walsum

The Walsum plant embraced BazeMill in 2007 and has transformed the entre mill into an arena based management mode of operation in just four months. They have organised the mill in for the time being 5 arenas and approximately 40 roles. The number of arenas is expected to expand greatly in the time to come.

Norske Skog Walsum is a 520 employee magazine grade paper producer at Duisburg, Germany. The mill was founded in 1962 and began with one paper machine. Today, the two existing paper machines, PM4 and PM10, were rebuilt in the early 1990’s. Both produce LWC with a total capacity of 425,000 tonnes annually.
