Kollsnes gas plant
Kollsnes is one of the worlds largest gas handling facility
Statoil uses BazePlant for integrated operations and plant information management at the Troll field and the Kollsnes gas terminal since 2003.
The processing plant at Kollsnes west of Bergen treats gas from the Toll, Kvitebjørn and Visund fields in the North Sea, and can handle up to 143 million standard cubic metres per day.
Installation of a sixth export compressor at the complex in 2005 expanded capacity from the original 120 million scm per day on 1 October 2006.
