Major upgrade at Gassco

Gassco is responsible as operator for transporting Norwegian gas to continental Europe and the UK in a safe and efficient way. As operator, Gassco is responsible for operating the Norwegian gas transport system on behalf of joint ventures/companies (owners).

It is of utmost importance for Gassco to have a reliable, efficient and robust IT solution for their gas volumes analysis and reporting. This in turn benefits all gas exportes with reliable and timely reporting.

Speed and robustness

Gassco has just recently upgraded to our newly developed historian and this offers Gassco greatly improved response time and robustness. The new historian gives equal speed of access irrespective of size of database and number of tags.

Securing availability of data

The upgraded redundancy setup secures Gassco the highest availability of critical data. Gassco has taken full advantage of the BazePlant redundancy and buffering also on their data sources, giving continuous data streams from their sources at all times.
